Mount Juliet Estate, Autograph Collection

The restaurant staff is very friendly. The food in the breakfast room / dining room was good, and featured generous servings. The golf course is beautiful, and the pro shop staff is very friendly.

We recently visited Mount Juliet to celebrate our wedding anniversary. A lovely experience from start to finish, a real 5 star treatment at every touch point. We stayed in the Manor House with a beautiful view of the river. The room was spacious and comfortable. We ate in The Hound, which was really excellent - food and service standards are super high and a very good alternative to the Lady Helen which is pricey (hopefully we can try it on our next stay). Overall the estate is situated on a beautiful piece of land and there are scenic walk trails with the gorgeous autumnal colours in full flow at the moment. Seems to be endless activities available from golf, tennis, walking, health club etc. Finally, all the staff are attentive and make you feel like a treasured guest. The only shame is we were only here one night.

Beautiful property-we stayed in hunter’s yard-friendly staff, great breakfast and great location for exploring. Very comfortable bed.

We stayed in the Manor house in a King executive garden view room. The room was very large and well appointed and the view was nice, but if I could I would splurge for a river view room the next time. I liked the historic/classic feel of the manor house over the hunter's lodge. The staff and breakfast were excellent. We ate at the Hunter's Lodge restaurant one night, but did not try the fancier Michelin star Lady Helen restaurant. It was also easy to take a 20 minute cab ride into Kilkenny for dinner.

Didn’t know you had a pool . We weren’t told about it unfortunately.

Beautiful grounds, but review your bill and credit card statement. The great - My husband and I stayed here on a couples trip, and the property is stunning. We did an equestrian tour which was so much fun, explored the grounds, and did the tasting menu at Lady Helen. The food was overall delicious, but we did not enjoy the pigeon. The not so great - like many hotels throughout Ireland, especially historic properties, there is no air conditioning. Being on the third floor, even with the windows open at night, was not pleasant. If you are traveling in the summer, it is worth the upgrade to a lower floor or room with better air circulation. We found two large errors with our bill. The first when we were checking out related to being charged for wine we didn’t order. The second and much larger error was an extra $1,800 charged to our card. I emailed the property several times with copies of my credit card statement showing the additional charge, but they were unable to verify with their records that I was charged twice. I finally filed a dispute with my credit card, and after providing receipts and documents, I was refunded the money more than 3 months later.

Amazing place. Picturesque surroundings, wonderful accommodations, top-notch staff, and excellent food. We couldn't have asked for anything more during our visit.

Beautiful, historic property with championship golfing

We had 4 nights here, 3 stays in the Hunters Yard rooms and one night in the Manor House. We loved Hunters Yard, excellent fitness centre, breakfast room overlooking the golf course is Beautiful, dinner also excellent, and even dinner in the club house was outstanding. Staff are professional and super friendly too. We moved to the Manor House for our last night and enjoyed dinner in Lady Helen, and it was superb. It’s impossible to fault the whole operation and Mt Juliet would have to be one of the best resorts in Ireland.
