Overall good stay but expected more for the price. Restaurant menu was average and quality was ‘fine’ but there’s definitely opportunity to improve further and to make more interesting. The outdoor pool also needs a refurb and looked grubby and tired. COVID-wise the staff could have been better / more attentive serving in lounge areas and cleaning surfaces inside after guests had left a space. Outside the staff were cleaning the tops of the tables but not the sides where people would also be touching.

Great weekend away. Was great the team allowed dogs. Overall great but for price there are a few areas of wear and tear in our room you would not expect. Particularly in the bathroom. Biggest challenge was bed was two singles and sagged in middle. That being said breakfast and spa all great.

We stayed here for 2 nights and had a really lovely time! The grounds and hotel are beautiful, the service and breakfast were fantastic, and the spa facilities were great. My only criticism is that the bathroom wasn’t kept the best and the water from the shower came out as a trickle which was disappointing. Overall, a lovely stay!
