"October half term stay"

10.0

Lovely place to go with family and dog. Staff very accommodating, good food and rooms spacious and well set out. Pools are great for the kids and can imagine it’s an even better place to come in the summer with the outdoor pool. We’ll definitely be back, and recommend to others!

"Exceptional"

10.0

The hotel is set in pleasant Wiltshire countryside, just outside Warminster. The facilities are very good and comfortable, and the food and the level of service excellent. For those who would normally expect lifts, accommodation is available at ground-floor level. We were helped with our luggage to and from our room by obliging and willing staff. The lighting inthe room was rather meagre, and occasionally table service was a little slow, but we couldn't speak too highly of the staff in terms of willingness and pleasantness.

"lovely place to stay"

Beautiful place, wonderful service and food but would have liked to have had a better view as up at the top of the hotel and the windows were very small.

As always a fabulous stay here. All of the staff are welcoming and good at what they do. You feel really looked after when you stay here. Outdoor pool was warm and comfy sun beds outside.

"Not that relaxing with children able to use pool."

6.0

Hotel was lovely, We visited for our anniversary. Was disappointed children were allowed in the pool/spa area, Not quite the luxury spa hotel we were expecting. You wouldn't normally have screaming children jumping in the pool whilst trying to relax.

"An absolute disappointment 3 star hotel"

4.0

This hotel is not something I have ever experienced before. The organisation is non existent. It is gung ho. We had booked for a week and I wished promptly I had booked elsewhere. When we arrived in the evening, the bedroom had not been prepared. We had to request on multiple occasions from management to provide the basics such as a sufficient number of towels, bedding and toiletries. You are asked if you would like a paper, without any mention you will be charged. We felt the squeeze in the suite provided and it was only after repeated requests were we finally moved. The beds are extremely uncomfortable and the pull out beds dangerous, with springs sticking out. The cleaners do not clean the rooms well. Waiting staff are polite but the management seem to have an attitude. The rooms are dire, decor from a period from the 70's. Staff do not follow Covid19 procedures and do not wear masks. It is the patrons who are protecting the staff. Getting your breakfast takes an age, and this is down to organisation, not an issue with waiting staff, who are definitely overworked. We waited up to 1 hour. There is no information provided to you upon check in concerning use of the facilities. Instead the constant repeated excuse 'You should have received this in your confirmation'. Why not provide this in your bedroom? This is most certainly not a 4 star, 3 star at best. Ridiculously overpriced and a huge disappointment for a break all of us were so excited about.

I first went to Bishopstrow 15 years ago and it was incredible. Today it is a very different experience.
