The staff was warm and inviting and very accomadating.

I liked that it was right across from the beach and that it was dog friendly. Even had free dog treats which was adorable.

The WiFi was kind of slow

The room was a large size.

We changed our original reservation to this property because of the promised craft cocktails and bistro. Then when we checked in we were told that the bistro is not open yet (whatever that means). No food, no coffee shop, no cocktails. Nothing. As often as the "wonderful staff" was mentioned in the reviews, they must have been written by friends and family. We had NO ONE go out of their way for us. Our room was NOT cooling comfortably, so we asked for a fan and got a blank look. Tried to explain again that we needed a fan and was told "We don't have those." They could care less. Pool was filthy. We were charged $15 a day resort fee for absolutely zero resort amenities. It's a long walk down the property's driveway, across the MAIN (VERY BUSY) highway, and then down another long boardwalk to get anywhere near the beach. Close?? NOT. If you are loaded down with children or beach gear, you will be taking your life in your hands to get to the water. This was our first time in Atlantic Beach and this property was not a good decision. We thought we were booking a quaint place with a bistro that would have charm and options, but this was like a slightly upgraded Motel 6. The description and the prices do not live up to what is offered here.

Staff was excellent!

Only 4 luggage dolly for the entire hotel. Subpar obvious repairs to the room. The tub did not drain appropriately. Bed was stiff.

The hotel has a sign that says Alice Hotel and Bistro. When we inquired about the food /restaurant we were told they didn't have a license yet so be prepared to make door dash orders, stock up on food or eat out. Also, we had a problem with the iron in our room which contained rust and ruined my partners shirt. There was also NO phone in our room and were told not all rooms have them (I can't remember what explanation was given, something along the lines of mechanical issues) So calls to the front desk had to me made on our personal phones another. Some of the front desk staff were far from enthused, never at the desk, lacked a caring demeanor and were also not fluent in English. Overall, it was a good stay simply because of the 5 min walk to the beach.

The hotel was adequate….nothing exciting. Room was clean and comfy although we stayed in 402 and the ceiling had a lot of mildew and possible mold on it. We loved the beach access…short walk and loved the offering of wagons and bikes though we did not use them.

Bistro was not as advertised, pretty sure I never seen any food there. Bar was left unattended most of the time during our stay (front desk was often unattended as well) so we went elsewhere for snacks and drinks. Also live music was advertised for Friday & Saturday nights….live music from 5pm until 6pm (so early) on Saturday but no one at the bar for serving drinks 🤷‍♀️ We visited pool a few times and a couple times there were no towels available. Just seemed like staff needed to pay more attention to the details.

The hotel and rooms were clean, and a great location across from the beach. I liked having the bikes available to use, and I like the fact that they provided two free drinks at the bar.

No breakfast at the hotel, beds were a litte undersized. Some cheaper options for drinks at the bar would have made me more likely to use it. It's a nice bar setup, but does not seem like it's marketed well enough so that people would use it.
