ibis Brussels Expo-Atomium

Very friendly staff, good price, delicious breakfast. A little outdated, but clean. Excellent bed! Close to Bruxelles Expo and easy to arrive from the Airport (a direct line 820 by bus!). Tram/metro-lines reachable within 1km walk.

Het inchecken ging allemaal wat onhandig. Een kopie van je rijbewijs maken zou volgens de GDPR niet meer mogen. Uiteindelijk met moeite zelf op de kopie een aantekening gemaakt om eventueel ID fraude i.v.m. een data lek te voorkomen. Personeel spreek slecht Engels en of Nederlands. Voor het uitrijden van de parkeer garage moet men weer apart naar de receptie met de vraag of de slagboom open mag. Dan kan allemaal naar mijn mening beter. Bij het inchecken wordt verwacht dat je de rekening alvast betaald. Is op zich niets mis mee maar geef dan wel een bewijs van betaling. Later om gevraagd en de collega wist uiteindelijk mij wel een bewijs van betaling af te geven.

Weinig personeel, daardoor lang wachten. parkeren €10,- p/n. Kamer was aan renovatie toe, plinten kapot, kitrand uit douche kapot en smerig

Disappointed that there were No tea making facilities in the room unlike all the other Ibis hotels i have visited in the last 10 years. Not having a car meant a 20 minute walk each way to the shopping area to buy eats but on the plus side the room was very comfortable although the wooden panel floor was very cold and particularly noisy from the person upstairs who seemed to be moving furniture around for no reason. The reception staff were lovely and appreciated how cold it was outside and one evening provided me with a lovely hot cup of tea which was very much appreciated. Not so appreciative one late evening was someone trying to enter My room with their door card and actually had the cheek to knock on My door.

Excellent

The bar / restaurant is open late, after midnight, and offers food as well as drinks. The late-night food is limited to pre-made pizzas and pasta dishes which are heated up, but still, it's great to be able to get something to eat after a long evening out at the expo, especially since there is not much else in the immediate area.

Juste pour 1 nuit, nickel. Un Decue de petit déjeuner vu le prix.

Great and conformable hotel! We were there to watch a concert in the Palais 12 and the hotel was pretty close which was ideal for us. They also had a mini snack bar in the lobby area that helped us get some food and drinks after the event. Overall Awesome experience in this hotel!
