the room door lock was broken and we didnt have a choice but to sleep - Mark the hotel manager was really helpful tried his best efforts to fix it. We had to wait.

Breakfast with a view was nice. Was clearly quite popular at the weekend, and there was a significant queue for a table.

We had an incident with a stranger knocking on our door late at night. This was mentioned by reception as "just something that happens". Clearly not that secure if the weekend is busy.

Modern, clean and very friendly

Drains - water is very slow draining away when having a shower. Extracted fan in bathroom not working - sorry we should have reported this
