I was honestly shocked by what I witnessed during my stay. After my flight was canceled, I arrived at the hotel around 10:00 AM hoping to book a room for the night. I completely understand that standard check-in wasn't until 3:00 PM, but my experience started off on the wrong foot. The manager on duty greeted me and then proceeded to leave me standing at the desk for several minutes while she focused on her computer without acknowledging me. When I was ready to book the room, I was informed that if I wanted to check in before 3:00 PM, I would need to pay an additional $50 early check-in fee. I chose not to pay it and instead spent the day in the lobby reading a book and enjoying a coffee while I waited. During that time, I had a front-row seat to the way the manager on duty interacted with both guests and employees, and frankly, it was disappointing. She repeatedly shouted across the lobby at staff members, spoke to people in a harsh and unprofessional manner, and at one point slammed the phone down after a call. It created an uncomfortable atmosphere and was not what I would expect from someone representing the hotel. The most concerning incident involved an elderly gentleman who appeared to be blind and was using a white cane. He approached the desk and asked for assistance getting to the elevator. One employee appeared ready and willing to help him, but the manager on duty immediately called out and instructed the employee not to assist. The gentleman was then left to navigate the lobby on his own, bumping into tables and walls while trying to find his way to the elevator. Eventually, the manager called the elevator down for him, but no one actually helped him get there. As a guest sitting nearby, I found it genuinely upsetting to watch. I don't usually take the time to write reviews, but I felt it was important to mention these experiences because they stood out for all the wrong reasons. That said, I also want to give credit where it's due. Every other member of staff I encountered was excellent. The evening team was friendly, welcoming, and happy to chat. The food was very good, my room was clean and comfortable, and I had a great night's sleep. The rest of the staff delivered the kind of hospitality I would expect and deserve recognition for their professionalism and positive attitude. While I enjoyed many aspects of my stay, the behavior I witnessed from the manager on duty left a lasting impression

good room relatively large, no wardrobe, but clean and comfortable bed., very good shower and bathroom facilities. and cleaning was marvellous, cleaning lady was very professional.

parking was extra payable. I've stayed for 5 nights and one would expect that the parking should have had been included in the room rates!.. so that's quiet disappointing.!

Good location nice breakfast

Great location for an overnight stay before an early flight from Gatwick. Comfortable room, very clean with a good shower. The shuttle bus was handy - door to door. Food in the bar was tasty and decent value. All the staff we encountered were very friendly.

I like the overall security, staff professionalism,and the cleanliness of the hotel.
