Such an amazing hotel. The staff are so lovely and accommodating. Room was impeccable and exceeded our expectations by a mile. I would 100% recommend this hotel.

Staff were great, property is exceptionally well ocated

We were only here for 1 night passing through from Ibiza to France, so I booked a basic room which had a side view over the old city to the sea. The room was well maintained, spacious, had a large comfortable bed and modern bathroom with amenities kits that many other hotels no longer supply. We may have been lucky on a Sunday night, there was no parties or loud noise. Exhausted from our drive we chose to have snacks and a bottle of wine on the top floor terrace. The Manager said that all tables were booked for the night but the young staff suggested a high table with bar stools on the balcony overlooking the Roman amphitheatre, we couldn't have been happier. The very young staff (Ayax and a Colombian young lady) were friendly and service orientated. We booked a parking spot for convenience and were happy to aprk on the forecourt.

Beautiful hotel in a gorgeous location. We stayed for a week, myself, my husband and our daughter. We booked the suite and were not disappointed!! Absolutely breathtaking views from our terrace, over the amphitheatre, city and sea. Its definitely worth spending a little extra for the suite just for the view ❤️ just sitting there in the evening was one of my favourite bits. And the room was massive! Very clean and very modern. The hotel itself was also very clean, extremely well decorated and all the staff we encountered were lovely. Breakfast was plentiful with lots of choice. The rooftop pool is stunning and the downstairs pool was always clean and never too busy. Some people have mentioned the noise outside the hotel. We stayed 7 nights and we only encountered 2 nights of noisy parties. The beds were so comfy you could still drop off to sleep. When you stay in a cultured city, you have to expect some noise. Thankfully our daughter slept through it and we feel it did not affect our stay. Our daughter equally enjoyed the holiday, despite it not having any entertainment. I think she proffered it as it had such a chilled atmosphere and she has asked if we can go to the same hotel next year! Wonderful hotel. We fell in love with Tarragona and would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful location, staff were all very helpful with the exception of the pool attendant on the 20th June, he was very brash and not particularly helpful when guests were asking for parasols to be moved. Our room didn't have a balcony which was a shame however we had a beautiful view over the cathedral. Everywhere in the hotel had lovely views. We opted to park in the Parking Belco del mediterrani. For 8 days, cost €110 ( far cheaper than the hotels rates. It was a 5 min walk at most. Everything was within walking, the rooftop area/ bar has the best views and is worth sitting for evening drinks. They don't have a great selection of food but what they serve was lovely. Breakfast was included and there was a great selection. We were there every morning and then only needed an evening meal. We ate at Quattro 3 times the service was hectic but super fast and the food was the best we ate, the calamari was melt in your mouth. ( I will do a more thorough review for them). This is not a negative review on the hotel but more of a warning for people visiting the area, my husband and I were walking home from the harbour and were approached by 3 men in their early 20's they spoke to us in Spanish which we advised we didn't understand, then walked away, we were both unsettled by the encounter that I looked back and found they were following us, they then pounced on us and tried to take my bag, my husband pinned 2 of them down, the locals started to shout which spooked them into running away. They managed to get my watch which wasn't expensive and ripped my husbands top. We have visited a lot of cities ( I come from just outside Glasgow) husband has zips on his shorts and I carry my bag in-between us when walking, we have never experienced anything like it. This happened around 9:45pm still light and there were people about. It was reported to the reception to mostly make them aware of this. They called the police to advise but no visit or request to visit the station was made and effectively it ruined what was a lovely holiday. Also on the 20th June (Friday) right next to the hotel there was an outdoor rave. This took place up until 4:15 am, no warning was provided. Now we totally get that people want to party but this is a quiet little town in Spain and not Ibiza, it was not expected. The hotel did alert us to the rooftop bar having a function on the Saturday and was closed from 4pm but no mention of a rave taking place till the early hours of the morning and when I say it was loud we were on the other side of the hotel and it kept us up all night. I put my noise cancelling headphones on and could still hear it. A little warning would have been appreciated, we could have had a midday snooze or bought some ear plugs. To recap, a beautiful place, lots of history on the doorstep of the hotel, staff were lovely but just be aware of your surroundings.

The location of the hotel is fabulous, and the views are absolutely stunning. However there is constant music and loud noise around the hotel area. We arrived around 9pm, got out of the taxi to thumping music coming from the hotel. Even the taxi driver kind of laughed and shrugged as if to say ‘this is what happens here’. We checked in and discovered a school prom was being held at the hotel. Loud music, and teenagers running through the lobby. A night later, we got back to our room around midnight to hear booming music again. We rang reception and was told it was going to continue till 3am! It was awful, we absolutely could not sleep it was so loud. We mentioned this at checkout and the hotel informed us that the local council regularly hold events literally just outside the hotel! We were told ‘last night finished early (!) usually it goes on till 7am!’ The hotel itself is stunning, but we would have absolutely not have stayed if we knew about all the noise issue and lack of sleep. Apparently mid August and most of September have loud events outside too. We just wanted to make people aware as we wish we knew before hand.

Really really poor and rude staff at breakfast. I asked four different staff a basic question and each simply ignored me and refused to answer. Each person was very dismissive. A disappointing breakfast is an understatement. Would not recommend.
