Hôtel Mercure Rouen Centre Champ-de-Mars

Pretty good location 10 minute walk to cathedral. Parking is on site which is great but tight and reasonable.

The hotel is pretty standard for Europe. Clean, somewhat stylish w basic services. My room was my favorite on this trip. It had a picture window that swung open all the way allowing for beautiful crisp air and a lovely view of the garden. Areas of improvement are: coffee in rooms is instant w a hot water pot. The entrance is for smokers and the garage dumps out far from the hotel leaving us to fight traffic to make our way back.

Shame we had to pay for the parking. Otherwise, very helpful, clean and a comfortable stay.

The room was spacious and clean. I loved having room to move and stretch, which is not common. The bathroom and shower were excellent. We were greeted by Audrey who took time to orient us, give recommendations and answer all questions. The location is away from the center/cathedral area, so we had a 15 minute walk to there but we liked the local neighborhood which was more locals and fewer tourists. The only point deduction was the bath towels were not replaced as well as some of the other amenities. We asked for refills when we found someone to help us. For long stays for more than one person, there is not much storage.More excellent stuff: beds, wifi and tv.

Very nice hotel near center of town. Parking I sit was convenient.

Well placed hotel, clean, nice surroundings

The staff where outstanding from the moment we arrived to the moment we left. Hotel is super clean. Bedroom ceiling needs redoing though.

Good central location for a nice city, with underground parking. Beware, the parking entry ramp if you have a low profile car, and the parking bays are very small.

Booked an overnight stop to break up the journey home after a holiday in France and very pleasantly surprised. Super easy to get to from the main route through Rouen. Stayed in a privilege room which seemed to have been very recently refurbished to a good standard, it also had the sofa bed around the coroner from the main bed which was a nice feature. Hotel was a 10 min walk to the interesting bits of the centre. Car park is tight esp with a big car and you have to pay extra (60 cents / hour) but no big deal really. Would defo stay again.
