"No Frills"

It was a nice stay, staff was friendly, location was wonderful. 1 mile walk to the Rouen Cathedral and other sights. Laundromat was .25 miles away. Room was small and simple.

"Rather disappointed!"

The first room I was given smelled of animal urine, a pet friendly hotel. My second room was lovely. The front desk staff member that checked me is was lovely, she was very helpful and understanding. I ate in the restaurant at the hôtel the first night, Le Honfleur. The chef should be fired! I ordered a veal dish that was liked eating shoe leather. It was dry and tired looking, as if pulled from a tray sitting in the oven. It was served with flavourless dried out rice. No vegetables. The dessert was supposed to be a creeped with caramelized apples. Trust me they were not caramelized but quite cold. The hotel is not t all in the ideal location for stepping out the door and finding lots of bars and restaurants. You would be required to walk about 15 minutes to be in the really popular and vibrant area. The train station is a good 30 minute walk. The air conditioning worked well and my second room was very spacious. I wouldn’t stay here again when I return to Rouen, and I will return...a stunningly beautiful city.

Really nice hotel,very easy to find and in a good area with supermarket, bars and restaurants. We were given a friendly welcome with our dog. Would definitely stay again.

"Nice hotel close to the city centre."

Very happy with our one night stay - very comfortable, clean and close to the centre of Rouen. We were lucky to have a lovely view over the city from our 2nd floor room.
