B&B Hotel Boulogne Sur Mer Centre Les Ports

Good for an overnight stay. Close to train station.

Stayed one night prior to returning to England on Eurotunnel. Excellently located within a pleasant walk to Boulogne harbour and town and very easy access to the A16 to the Tunnel. Underground carpark for 8 euros a night. My room (223) faced the front of the hotel with great views over the river. Most of the noise came from the seagulls when the fishing boats returned at about 4.00am, but this noise was totally eliminated by the very effective sound-proofing windows (which opened fully with no security or restrictor, very unusual to find on a second floor hotel room). Very comfortable room and bed. Staff were very helpful and friendly and all spoke English (and French). For those travellers who are missing Blighty, the room television also has English terrestrial TV channels. This is a good hotel at a good price. The hotel breakfasts and dinner were excellent and catered for children. There are dozens of other options nearby.

Hotel is well situated for the harbour & town centre. It has secure parking and is good for an overnight stay. The hotel staff are friendly, the breakfast is excellent with a good selection of bread, ham, cheese, fruit, cereals, etc., available. Our bedroom & bathroom were clean and a reasonable size, but do need updating, especially when compered to other Ibis hotels we have stayed in. However, overall we enjoyed our stay and we will probably use this hotel again.

Nice friendly staff. Easy onsite parking. Hotel a little worn but perfectly adequate. Would happily stay again.

Have stayed here several times before. Great value for a night away near the Port of Calais. Nice bars and restaurants only a few minutes walk away and a supermarket attached to the hotel complex makes it an ideal place to stock up with lovely french wines!

you need to go to reception to get car park ticket first, car park dark & steps are steep, the hotel is very tired & could do with lots of tlc, the meal however was very good

Helpful, friendly and knowledgeable staff. Room OK for my 5'2" wife but not for me at 6' You will need a map of the one way system if you are driving. Miss the road in and you must cross and re-cross the river. Breakfast was nothing special and not worth the extra The hotel backs on to a super Carrefour. Great for fresh fruit and veg. The lady at the cheese counter was a gem. The car park is card access (purchase from hotel) and well worth the extra, if like us, you have a full load of wine from the excellent Auchan on the St Omer road. Don't miss the fresh fish market a little way up the road. It is fresh out of the sea and 30% cheaper than the UK Will stay again.
