B&B Hotel Boulogne Sur Mer Centre Les Ports

This is the fifth time we have stayed in this hotel. The location is great, the staff are always friendly and since the refurb it is a great place to stay. It is walking distance to “La Comptoir” where we always eat.

When we arrived there were lots of young people hanging around the entrance drinking beer which did not inspire our arrival, when we got to the room the aircon was not working so the manager said he would look at it, on arriving back from our meal which for my wife was not enjoyable as she choose steak which turned out to be as tough as old boots, we found the air was still not working so we had to have the window open which was very noisey.

Enjoyable few days in Boulogne and ibis is well situated.

Very convenient for restaurants and shops walking easy car parking good so didn’t need it while staying

Would have been nice to have been able to make a cup of tea/coffee in the morning nothing there?

On the positive side, the staff are very friendly, the hotel has been recently renovated, the cafe-bar is cheap and open all hours, it is very near a mini mall and the town centre and there is onsite parking (€8). On the negative side, the rooms are all tiny, so the beds are tight too (an IBIS classic), I found somebody else's hair in shower and the TV wasn't working. Overall, this hotel is a good, well priced, easily enjoyable bet for Bologne Sur Mer.

Great place to stay and we return again and again

Secure parking, and comfortable room. The hotel is close to many excellent bars and restaurants. We have stayed there before and would always use it when visiting Boulogne.

Undergoing an upgrade so a little disorganised but it was convenient, lots of parking but a little expensive
