Hôtel ibis Saintes

Small cramped rooms on a busy highway. Don't expect ibis to be roomy but this room had dark grey walls and felt like a tomb. Morning front desk gentleman was grumpy with attitude. He was impeccably dressed in expensive clothes, but not interested in being kind or attentive to the guests. He was clearly bothered we needed to check out. We were charged for two breakfasts although only one ate the mediocre buffet.

Je ne comprends pas le nombre d’étoiles et la satisfaction des clients vis à vis de cet hôtel. Accueil moyen , pas d’ascenseur , service quasi nul (pas de soirée étape, pas de bouilloire avec thé café dans les chambres, pas de bouteille d’eau de bienvenue, pas de chaîne satellite…). Chambre type hôpital et salle de bain vraiment petite … assis sur le WC collé au mur le coude sur le lavabo à côté . Le seul avantage c’est que cet hôtel est proche de l’autoroute…. Avantage ??? En tout cas je savais au bruit que j’étais à côté de l’autoroute quand mon voisin de la chambre voisine ne ronflait pas (isolation acoustique nulle). La propreté de la salle de bains laisse à désirer. Cet hôtel a t il des parts chez hôtel.com ???

Perfect hotel for one stay on the tripp to Spain. Easy acces from the motorway. Very helpful and friendly Service during the late checking in and problems witht he chargeing of the EV.

Un hotel bien situé dans une zone intéressante, restaurants , centre commercial etc. Chambre propre, literie ok, rien ne manque. Le restaurant de l'hôtel a le mérite d'etre là, c'est tout: Prix excessif, peu de choix,pas ouf allez! on se motive et on va manger à l'extérieur !

Stayed here pre-covid so we know the restaurant was good. Now, the restsurant is closed and the evening shift receptionist had to do everything, including heating orepared food and serving. She did an amazing job with a lovely personality. The food was good despite all this. The room felt very small. The bed was enormous and a standard double bed would have given more room to move in. Despite the down points, the bed and facilities were up to the high standards we can rely on with Ibis.

Zeer krappe kamer met nog krappere badkamer. Wel schoon en prima bedden. Ontbijtbuffet was prima maar eenvoudig.

Le calme est appréciable. Le pommeau de douche ne tenait pas sur le support.
