"Exceptional"

The evening meal was one of the best we’ve eaten in nearly 30 years of staying at Ibis hotels. Staff were also very helpful and friendly.

"Wonderful staff and a great place to stop over."

I was unfortunate to contract gastro enteritis on our journey to Saintes and by the time we checked in I was feeling very ill. The reception staff could not have been more helpful. The lady directed us to a local hospital and also contacted a pharmacy to open up for us so we could collect the prescribed medication. We also had a late check out at no extra charge. If not for their help I do not think we would have managed to get to our ferry home so we are very grateful for all their help and concern and would recommend this as a great place to stay. The hotel has a restaurant and there are other eateries nearby. It is in a bit of an industrial area but a very convenient stop over for the A10 if on a journey back to the French ports.

Very convenient. For journey down to the Algarve. Always clean and comfortable and the new chef produced top quality food in the restaurant in the. evening if our arrival

The hotel looks a small though it is currently undergoing refurbishment. There were new carpets in the corridor. The room was small, but the bed was comfortable and clean. Useful for an overnight stop whilst travelling.

Hotel was easy to find and only about 5 minutes from the toll road. The room was clean and had a lot of shops around the corner ranging from a fuel station to a Chinese take-away. Over all the hotel and staff were very friendly and spoke really good English, they also had a nice continental breakfast. We would definitely be staying here again.
