Hôtel ibis Saintes

We needed secure parking and from the map on the website it did not show a fence and gate entry system. This is incorrect, they have a fence and gate entry system so we we're very relieved.

Hôtel au calme, situé dans la zone industrielle de Saintes. Chambre agréable, assez grande. Rien de particulier à signaler.

Reassuring Covid arrangements, friendly and welcoming staff, really tasty evening meal from the restaurant prepared for one's collection to eat in-room [as for breakfast] Enclosed site with free parking and dog friendly.Good overnight stop,close to motorway but quiet enough. Comfy beds. Good shower. Space is money of course but only gripe is the rooms sizes are a bit tight !

I know this hotel is generally cheap but it shows it. The rooms are very small with no air and the beds are small with very poor mattresses.

Good stop off en route to ferry. Meal at hotel was fantastic and way better than expected in a 2* hotel.

We really liked this hotel. It has only just been refurbished and looked really lovely. The room was comfortable and spacious with a well fitted bathroom and comfy beds. Although we did not eat at the hotel, the menu at the restaurant looked really interesting.

Ibis never fails to deliver. All round good service, cleanliness etc etc. Good access to Saintes which is an historical treasue.

Always very quiet at night good location

If you eat steak here remember “mi cui” for medium or you get it virtually raw. Wouldn’t recommend this place, I know you get what u pay for, but it wasn’t cheap! And don’t leave it late for breakfast because there will be nothing left and its not replenished!
