Hotel ibis Strasbourg Centre Halles

Location is the main advantage. Otherwise the rooms are small and the bed too small.

For the second trip running in Strasbourg (previous hotel was different) i have been treated to a hotel advertising air conditioning only to find the hotel doesn't switch it on. I was advised that the ir-room unit offers heating at this time of year. I was on the foiurth floor and it was 20 degrees outside. The room was hot and resulted in a poor nights sleep. Hotels should not be allowed to advertise air conditioning if it isn't available. Otherwise, w decvent hotel for the price, in a great location but cannot offer good marks for offering facilities that patently do not exist.

It was a great place and close to everything. Will be better when renovations are complete.

The ac wasn’t working and it was 24 degrees in my room at night.

The property is centrally located, but it is difficult (until you are told) how to get from the parking to the hotel. Thank goodness we only had backpacks because it took us a while to figure out how to get to the hotel.

Overall the hotel was very good, room was clean and comfortable, location was excellent, just 5 minutes walking from the Cathedral, did not take breakfast, so cannot provide feedback on food.

The hotel is clean, very close to the center. Bedding is perfect. Great choice for budget travel.

When I booked this Ibis hotel, I thought we were in for a treat, I was VERY WRONG with this assessment. This $200 USD per night hotel is a farce. You’ve heard of the saying “not enough room to swing a cat”, this describes the accommodation. I had 8-10” between the wall and the edge of the bed. Bathroom..... the toilet seat did not stay up for comfortable male urination. No amenities except a squeeze bottle of all purpose body cleanser. HVAC did not work, open the window.......street noise. I chose IBIS for luxury, at $200 for a night.....pure garbage! I understand that the hotel facade in being renovated but it’s pure crap when it comes to my guest room. This is the worst night’s stay on our 6 week European tour The staff is nice and the breakfast was good. I will never bet $200 on IBIS ...........EVER AGAIN.

difficult to find in the construction site

The hotel is right next to the city center island and next to a huge shopping mall, so it was a perfect location! The staff was very friendly. The only downside was they were doing renovations and it was a bit noisy in the mornings and somewhat dusty, but overall very good.
