Proximity to the old town. Staff were exceptionally friendly!

We had an unfortunate situation that water supply was interrupted, however the hotel made the best given this situation.

Great service and highly recommend.

From the first moment we walked into this historic hotel, it was magical. The entire staff was extremely helpful and attentive from dinner reservations to extra towels and a bottle of champagne for our anniversary. Some of the highlights include the beautiful courtyard and restaurant, the complimentary water at the front desk and on the 3rd floor lounge, the rooftop pool and hot tub and complimentary daily wine & cheese reception at 5. The room was well appointed with a hand steamer, blow dryer, coffee station and fridge and cozy robes and slippers. Water view from our bed! We also took advantage of a complimentary historic tour of the hotel, cathedral San Bautista and San Juan gate right down the street. Easy access and walking to tons of historic sights nearby. Highly recommend this hotel for a boutique experience in the center of historic Old San Juan.

Location, staff and food are really good

Not a clean place. Housekeeping is not doing their best work. Trash cans weren’t clean daily. Dirty Room service plates were outside our rooms for 24 hours, and cleaning cart was also left on the side during the nights

I wanted to visit Old San Juan and be there for my birthday. As soon as I saw the building, I knew this is where I wanted to go. Its hard to find words to describe this place. It was so classy, yet comfortable and felt like home. The charming rooftop pool and hot tub presented relaxation after full days of walking. With its old world charm and perfect location to everything in Old San Juan, staying here is a must. The employees were beyond hospitable and kind. They answered all of my silly questions and genuinely seemed happy to be there. The food was fantastic and delicious. I plan to come back and I will definitely be staying here again. Thank you for making my birthday so memorable.

Loved this historic hotel right in the middle of Old San Juan, within walking distance of many Old San Juan attractions, restaurants and bars. We returned our rental car prior to checking into the hotel based on reviews which said it was a challenge to drive and find parking in Old San Juan - and couldn’t be happier! If you want to immerse yourself into the ambience and architecture of Old San Juan and savor the excellent dining options nearby, this hotel is an excellent choice. The historical building and beautiful rooms were well worth the price. The free coffee in the morning and wine/cheese in the evening at the terrace overlooking Old San Juan was amazing. As an additional perk, we availed of the option to spend a day at the beach at a sister property in Isla Verde (Marriott Courtyard). The staff was courteous and always helpful.

Beautiful hotel in Old San Juan. Near to historic spots, next to the church, and restaurants. Rooms were cool and updated. Loved the atmosphere. Would definitely book here again❤️
