Blue Orchids Beach Hotel

Ocean view and wenesday happy hour was great.

Location is what brought me here. 2nd time I’ve been here, but I preferred the 1st time because of our room was in better condition. Rooms are worn down and water pressure and temperature was a problem,hot water took at least 3-4 minutes to get somewhat hot. And the balcony was hot like an oven with no wind. But great location.

Great apartment in a good location with lovely staff all round. We really enjoyed our 10 nights at the blue orchid, we booked a package with virgin which was good value for money. Our room was tucked away in a corner with side seaview which was very clean, comfortable and quiet with a lovely balcony. We recommend the worthing food square with all different choices of food and the supermarket was about a 10min walk with everything you needed. Sunbeds and beach towels are available. We just want to say a huge thankyou to all the lovely staff we came in contact with especially, monica our lady who serviced our room, mario and liverpool for passing friendly chats, reggie for the car hire and chantel and ladies on reception. We are hoping to return in the future.

Enjoyed our stay here very much, yes parts of hotel very tired looking, but our studio apartment was very clean and comfortable, with a great sea view, very good value. The staff were always smiling and very helpful. My only disappointment was the breakfast we prepaid for was expecting a continental breakfast, choice was a tea, coffe, bagel or cake or porridge, anything else was extra. Most days we didn't bother.

We’ve just had 10 days of paradise at Blue Orchid/Coral Mist Hotel. From the moment we checked in the staff here have been warm, welcoming and made sure we’ve had the best time with a level of service provided that they should all be rightly proud of. I’ve read other reviews and yes the hotel is a little dated compared to some of the modern white, glossy ones, but what you get here is a perfect location and space with a step from your room to the beach, views to die for and a large, well equipped room with everything you need including a huge balcony, coffee maker and a large fridge freezer. A special thank you to Darren on the bar, Reggie for helping us with car hire and excursions, George for his warmth and help with where to visit on the island, the lovely lady who kept our room spotless and the ladies on reception for looking after us so well. We loved it here and don’t want to leave! Thank you Blue Orchid/Coral Mist for a dream holiday! We will be back xxx

The staff, the view, everything.

A lovely property right on Worthing Beach. Easy walking distance to shops and other places. Very good value for a 3 star hotel. We had a lovely balcony overlooking the sea also. Worth a visit.

Our stay at Blue Orchids Beach Hotel was absolutely delightful. The moment we arrived, we were greeted by the warm hospitality of the staff and the stunning ocean views. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. Our room was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. Overall, our experience at Blue Orchids Beach Hotel was fantastic. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a relaxing and enjoyable beach vacation.

This hotel is not as described. Do not book here. I booked an 11 day stay with a king size bed and water views. When I arrived the room felt old and dirty. There was no king size bed instead it was 2 twin beds pushed together with a large seam down the middle of the bed (very uncomfortable). AC was only in the bedroom, not in the rest of the unit. The stove had grease built up on it. The tile floors were cracked, the elevator barely worked. The hotel was unacceptable so I asked the manager if they would refund me the remain days and they agreed. They refunded me the hotel/logging tax and said the remaining refund for the room would come directly from Expedia (seemed odd). I specifically spoke with the manger and asked ahead of booking a new room with another hotel because I did not want to have to deal with having to fight for a refund after the fact and want to ensure I had their approval. I have a copy of my receipt showing the refund for the taxes. I reached out to Expedia and have been told the hotel will not refund me. I'll have to take this issue up with the credit card company. Expedia did offer me $256 towards another booking which is ridiculous. This hotel was not as described and should be rated a negative star. Do not book here. You will disappointed.
