Crowne Plaza Glasgow by IHG

Great location for concerts. Comfy bed. Breakfast was nice.

Lifts were a bit slow.

Bed was comfy and room was clean.

Fridge didn't work in room and when I went to reception to speak to them about it they acted like I was wrong and kept repeating that it was a cooler and doesn't keep it cold, nobody came to check what was up with the fridge if it was plugged in or not. I've stayed here quite a lot and I was always under the impression it was a fridge as our cans of juice were freezing cold but this time I took them out and they were actually warm how is that? I tried to sort it myself but wasn't able to see the socket to see if it was plugged in as it was hidden with the unit. I always book this hotel for the benefit of the fridge and when I spoke to others in the hotel they had gotten rooms much cheaper and with breakfast, and they booked through booking.com. in advance like me. Definitely thinking of booking through other avenues as I was really annoyed at that.

Staff were generally friendly. Good location for Secc.

Didn’t get to check in until 1hr15 after normal check in time. So essentially they want you to spend money at the bar whilst waiting for your overpriced room. We were only staying one night so this was a poor show. When the room was ready it only had towels for one. The hotel has seen better days. Bathroom in particular was pretty run down.

I managed to get checked in earlier with my granddaughter.

Although situated on the 6th floor whilst using the lift this morning it went to the top floor and stopped at every floor on the way down,

Good location, clean, comfortable and good price. Good bar area and restaurant on ground floor

All ok.
