Check in was quick and professional. Room was clean and in good repair, I still can't find a hotel bed that doesn't hurt my back, but overall it was a great stay! The dinner service was excellent, Olivia in the dining room and Dawn in the bar were friendly, attentive and professional. And the food was great!

"Poor Experience"

Booked under a double queen bed room. They didn't have any double queens available. They gave me a King bed room that was very cramped. One of us had to sleep on the floor. Asked for a rollaway bed, as the website said they were available on request. Front desk person said "they haven't had them since Covid". The next day I called and asked if we could be moved to a double bed queen room. The front desk person said yes no problem. About an hour later, the Asst. GM (didn't get his name) lied to me three different times, making excuses for us not to switch rooms, including trying to jack up the price, when i had booked under the double bed queen to begin with. I had booked under my points for being a Hilton Honors member and the GM seemed irritated that I had done that, as he mentioned it numerous times. I always try staying loyal to Hilton Hotels, but this guy was acting like I was stealing from him by actually using my points. The thermostat never worked right in the room, although the room was clean. There was no coffee for the guests, other than in the room. You had to pay for coffee yourself. The only ice machine in the whole building was a tiny ice machine in a mini fridge/freezer next to the front desk that was all frozen together, and you needed an icepick to get a piece loose. Filling one cooler would clean this ice machine out. The positive was Shelby Campbells was pretty good. We ate dinner there twice and the gentleman who sat and served us was very good. (bearded/long haired guy). The food was good and very quick, even though it was a bit overpriced.
