L'Auberge De Sedona

Overall an extremely sloppy, disappointing hotel experience. I've previously stayed and had meals here, but this stay was a mess and a waste of money. We were on a road trip, so arrival was late afternoon and back on the road by 9am. This was a splurge after plenty of time in the car, and when we arrived at 3:30pm our room wasn't ready. Check-in is at 4pm, which is already a stretch. No big deal... we'll have a drink overlooking the creek and relax for 30-45 minutes. Over two hours later, at nearly 6:00PM (!!!), our room was finally ready. We had booked a nice dinner at Cress on the Creek at 6:45pm, but by that time we didn't have time to shower and get ready and were just worn out and frustrated. So we just stayed in the room and ordered mediocre room service. Multiple other people were waiting late for their rooms, so clearly a total breakdown in the rooms management system in the front office and with housekeeping to properly turn rooms. I'm typically a pretty laid back and forgiving traveler after working in management with Four Seasons in my past career, but this was just a mess. Compensation offers were weak, and even at check out when the manager (?) said she'd take care of our minimal incidentals, I just today found a $49.21 charge on my credit card. Even if the creekside setting is beautiful and room was nice, service was far from polished for a hotel at this price point and overall was a complete waste of $700. Had I known I would've gone elsewhere.

The hotel and entire Sedona area were great. The hotel specifically was in great shape and you can tell the staff cared about the guest experience. We were initially upset about the room we were given because it was on the first floor of the lobby of one of the buildings with the concierge right outside, but we didn't experience any issues with noise during our stay. The creek side restaurant and chair loungers were wonderful as was the Duck Pond pool. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone traveling as a couple.

Fabulous first trip to Sedona! Can’t wait to come back. Hotel was exceptional! Service, Accomodations, and property were all 10/10.

We decided to take an impromptu trip to Sedona this past weekend. We stayed at the L'Auberge and everything was fantastic! The service, food, and experience were truly wonderful. Amazing hotel, excellent service, beautiful views, intimate creekside dining. Highly recommend. In the heart of Sedona.

Do not Stay at L'Auberge DE Sedona..this was the worst hotel experiance we have ever had. Started out by being informed of all the extra charges when we checked in..We felt like we where the buffett table of gouging..they charge you almost 40.00 per day to park your car, then they charge you 10% of your room rate for what they call limo service, which we never used once. Then they charge you 350.00 dollars per day for what they didn't explain, but said we would get refunded after 15 days..What? When we parked our vehicle, they said they would bring our luggage to our room, two hours later, we had to go and retrieve it from our car ourselves..We had to call down to request water for our room every day..and they never knocked on the door to tell us it had arrived, they just left it outside the door, where everyone walking by took it..our balcony we rotten to the point that it was unsafe to stand on for fear of falling through..so there goes the desire to stand outside and take in the views..Overall, this was a bad decision on our part to stay there, don't make the same mistake.

You won’t want to leave! Everything about our experience was fabulous! Our room exceeded our expectations, the staff was very accommodating and kind, the restaurants were amazing between food and the views, and the spa and pools left us refreshed and renewed.

Fantastic experience!! Such a relaxing atmosphere. Would recommend staying in the cottages! Daybed at the Duck Pond pool was a highlight of our trip.

The property is stunning, the food is amazing. We stayed in the cliffs and had amazing views from our room. We were able to find a table down by the creek for breakfast this Morning. Chris was our server and was very helpful in guiding us through the menu and provided a great customer experience. I highly recommend this property if you are looking for a little bit of nature with a luxury ambiance

Spectacular resort. Eating breakfast on the creek with spectacular service from Cheyenne was a highlight.
