Comfort Inn & Suites River City Decatur

Room was not cleaned, outlets not working right, Beds were not queen think it was full size. Parking spaces were too small. Had to go out for breakfast food was not appealing. Would not stay here again.

The door entrance of our room looked like someone had tried to force into the room at one point, with many dents in the door. The peep hole was cracked, not allowing me to see who was outside the door. The walls must be thin, because I could hear everything occurring in other rooms and in the hallway. The front door handle was broken, making it difficult to unlock the door, especially with bags in hand. The door locks inside of the room were broken, the towels had hair in them, and the carpets did not appear to be vacuumed. The outlets in the lights did not work and the sheets had stains on them. The pull out bed mattress had many large stains, as well as the couch. I flipped the mattress over in hopes it would be cleaner than the top side, and found animal hair scattered across the back. There were not sheets for the pull out bed, but the person at the front desk was very kind and helpful. We skipped breakfast at the hotel because I watched the person at the front desk itch his back and touch his face as he was packing breakfast to-go bags for guests.

For the $125 price I do not expect: —towel bars hanging off wall —closet doorway unfinished & hanging in the room —bathroom door unable to close —No exhaust fan in the bathroom —Absolutely no breakfast that was supposed to be included Very sad!!!

Staff was pleasant. However paint and new carpeting would go a long way. Rooms needed to be updated. Overall pretty clean but because of condition of carpet and walls, made the room feel dirty. AC works great

the hotel is out of date needs someone to actually wipe down everything doors, door frames, walls, knobs, and paint needs to be touched up or redone. We could see dirt smeared on the walls. I am not real picky but I did bring my own Lysol wipes and Microderm spray. The kids enjoyed the pool very much.

the bed was the most comfortable bed i’ve ever slept in. i also asked for a late check out and they granted it no problem

The place was quiet, and pricing was great!

One room was not clean on check in; food bits and dirt on floor and hair in bed. Front desk staff apologized and promptly gave us a different room.
