Motel 6-Newport, TN

the staff was nice. the rooms clean

unfortunately I had to give this a bad rating because we had no air in our room. I had two different employees in our room. which was room 122 and no one could get the air working. I asked for a refund because we had waited like we were asked by the employees after waiting for hrs and leaving and coming back to give the air time to cool the room off, by 11 I was tired and wanted to sleep our room was still sitting at 82. I asked for a refund and explained you cant fix our air they didnt have a fan. but because we waited like we were asked I was told a refund wasn't possible and I was told that all the rooms were booked. so I had no choice but to book somewhere else. I also called the property the day after and I was told the air is working and that no one on night shift knew how to work the controls and the owners of the property weren't in and that more then likely I wouldn't be getting a refund. I just think its kinda crapy. because even the employees that came into the room couldn't stand it in there very long and even said how hot it was in there. so yeah im kinda upset about this part of it.

Toilets bscked, one room across from me flooded into hallway. Sll she did was give me z plunger and a mop. I left at 930 pm,

Beautiful room..

The room’s rundown beds had bugs. I would not recommend to anyone this place needs to be cleaned up and turned into the health department.

The bed was uncomfortable it stated it was queen was not queen had spring in my back whole night towels were nasty in bathroom had black curly hair on them glad I wasn’t planning on showering shower nasty I wasn’t very happy it just made me realize you get what u pay for

When we got there, it took 20 minutes for the employee to show up to check me in. Even though I pushed the page button she didn’t bother to take the phone. That night our air conditioner didn’t work and we called the front desk. He came up, turned it down to 50, & said it should now. It didn’t. The next morning the elevator didn’t work- we were on the 3rd floor and there were firemen everywhere. DO NOT USE THIS HOTEL!!!
