Microtel Inn & Suites Lincoln

Not the best for a first stay. Building looks like a converted apartment complex. Everything appeared clean but when entering our room and looking around the cushions around the window showed obvious cat damage. I know this is a pet friendly hotel but when those are ok to be in the room you question the cleanliness of the overall space. Beds were somewhat comfortable, same with the pillows. Bathroom had some flaws too. Peeling paint above the shower and loose trim around the shower head. Water pressure was great but the shower curtain had no magnets so water leaked badly around it. Hotel is ok in a pinch but probably will not return

Wonderful place to stay. Friendly staff, very helpful, accommodating. Will stay here every time I am in Lincoln

One thing I wanted to know is that 2 people were standing outside that looked shady. Had limited tv stations. Breakfast - 3 or 4 tables, pastries, waffles, 2 cereals, oj/apple juice, coffe. Coffee and oj were okay. Had coffee and hot water in lobby. Main concern/raking was based on the people in the parking lot.

The room was nicer than how it looked in the pictures, the ac made sure was cool instantly and the bed was comfortable.

There was a lack of protein, eggs or peanut butter for breakfast

Property in poor repair, room not adequately cleaned. $50 deposit fee charged upon check-in, along with a lengthy waiver regarding pets and smoking and a threat of additional fees. Understandable wanting to protect the property, but isn't there a more customer service friendly way to go about it? They were unable to produce a receipt on request.

This property is not what it looks like in the pictures. Bedding was dirty and the pool looked unkept as well. The back door lock was broken. I felt so unsafe and uncomfortable here that I left even though they didn’t guarantee me my money back and still haven’t gotten it. I’d rather sleep in my car than to ever stay in a hotel that terrible.

Staff was pleasant.

The mini fridge was too loud. Too much ambient light in room even with curtains closed.

Bed was comfortable

There was no door latch on the frame just a hole so it didn't feel very safe
