the first room they offered as a nonsmoking room stank of cigarettes. The second room had heavy smell of dog pee. In the elevator, there was an even stronger smell of dog pee. I did not stay at this property and found a different hotel

Room was flooded with water.

I call the front desk and he did not know what to do. So, I ask for towels to put on the floor.

I was overcharged from what I was supposed to be paying. Rooms were a nightmare, blood spatters on the wall, dirty, cobwebs hanging from the ceiling, not to mention the terrible smell. You could hear everything and everyone in this craphole!! Better off sleeping in your car!!

Clean, friendly environment breakfast as promised quiet with a pool and local nearby shopping fast food, supplies and indoor dining with a variety to choose from. Looks newly remodeled

Nothing. They canceled my reservation before I got there.

I opted for the pay on arrival. They tried to charge my card before my arrival, which wasn't authorized, so they decided, I didn't have money and canceled my reservation. Then I was out at 11 o'clock at night, after a 16 hour drive having to find other accommodations

The neighborhood is not good. There were people fighting and screaming in the hallway all hours of the night. Lots of illegal activity going on. Not a good place for families.

I stayed at the Microtel in Lincoln, NE from [July 1st 2025] and had a disturbing experience. I had a package shipped to the hotel, and the manager, Chad, opened it without my permission. The item inside — a collectible pair of shoes — was damaged after he handled them. What’s worse, I contacted Wyndham corporate, and instead of stepping in to resolve the issue, they just forwarded my concern right back to the same manager — essentially protecting him instead of holding him accountable. This kind of behavior is unacceptable and a clear violation of guest privacy. Whether the item was new or old doesn’t matter — once a hotel employee tampers with your mail, trust is gone. If you value your property and personal space, be very careful staying here.
