Enjoyable stay. Quiet comfortable room

The hotel is ok but rooms need refurbishment For £326.00 per night rooms need an uplift

Rooms were gorgeous and staff were great but pool and communal areas very tired.

A lovely hotel with efficient staff, tasteful decor and delicious food. Only negatives were that the starters in the restaurant were over-priced and the grounds/entertainment facilities were limited

Very attentive staff although there were dead flies in the pool.

I thoroughly enjoyed the food. I didn't like that there was nowhere to sit comfortably outside for a long period of time. SPA was restricted to 2-hour slot which is where the comfortable loungers were.

We enjoyed our stay although we found some of the families a little odd. Spa was reasonably comfortable but the round pool was not that inviting due to its colour of water and difficult to enjoy a swim due to its size. Food was good, staff helpful and attentive. Breakfast in a box in your room was most odd, limited choice on the continental breakfast with cold croissants. Cooked was very expensive. No gardens of any size with most of it covered by a marquee which spoilt the outlook.

The location was great and we had a peaceful stay and enjoyed the food and wine. What can be improved is the condition of the rooms and attention to detail by the staff. Our room was spacious but the amenities are dated, carpet had marks on them from previous spillage which aren't cleaned, the bathroom looked dark and had poor ventilation. Our room wasn't sound proof at all. The cleaning staff left dirty sheets in the corridor - it just felt disorganised. The Spa also felt dated. Would be great if they can refurbish the hotel throughout to restore its glory. Overall a bit disppointing and below the standard we were expecting given it's a Relais Chateaux resort. Would definitely recommend the restaurant and wine however.

Nice hotel with excellent dining

Superb food and wine, immaculate room and excellent amenities. Definitely a top notch hotel.
