The Vineyard

The hotel was lovely…a little dated. The restaurant Catch was unbelievable. The head waiter Joe was fantastic, so attentive, professional and friendly.

Such a wonderful time at the Vineyard to celebrate my husbands birthday. The food was amazing, room so comfortable and what made it really special was the friendliness of the staff. We were treated so well and made to feel so welcome by everyone.

The hotel was constructing some sort of external kitchen which wasn't that great to look at. Our room was dirty, with what appeared to be new food stains across the cushions of the sofa. Both dressing gowns had red stains on the sleeves. The bath itself was covered in hair. Milk in the fridge was already a day old. Cant sleep with the windows open due to the noise from the motorway. When we raised the issue of our dirty room with the reception staff they didn't seem bothered and just asked us to pay our bill. The pool is tired looking and not what you expect for a 5* hotel. Overall disappointing and will not be returning.

Fabulous stay. Service excellent which is the reason the hotel stands out. Spa treatments the best I have ever had. Be warned.... VAT is added to everything on checkout. It is a pricey hotel anyway. I would recommend for a total relaxing break.

Very nice hotel. Excellent service. Nice amenities. Spa treatment was lovely. Food delicious. Room was clesn and very comfortable. Wished the pool and jucuzzi were hot. Our only complaint!

The staff were all very friendly but when it came to a fault on their part, I don’t think they handled it in the most professional and satisfying way. The Spa facilities were not up to our expectations since the main component, the Jacuzzi, wasn’t working on the day. It was a disappointment for us and all we received were tiny samples which are meant to be free samples anyway- we don’t feel we were compensated well enough, until we had to go out of our way to ask for something at the reception. Even then, we didn’t feel we were spoken to politely by the reception manager.

Staff are excellent, laid back atmosphere that suits us, no pressure, just relaxation.

The hotel is calm and relaxing, never any issues. If there was the staff would sort it out immediately. The staff are great not over powering n any way and you can have a laugh with them.
