AC was not the best. TV reception was poor. TV picture would constantly keep freezing up. The price was too high for the condition of hotel. I would not stay there again.

"Good for the money"

Place was very clean but in evening a bit noisy. But people did stop by midnight. Being extended stay (i had never stayed in one before), the front desk had very limited hours, which was ok for us. Though a small kitchen, there was no cooking or eating equipment, not even paper towels.

Their front desk hours are ONLY M-F 9AM TO 3PM. Arrived at 7:30 and no one around. Been on the road most of the day to arrive here, so found a bathroom after waiting for assistance at front desk. Came out, someone who looked like a guest of motel and not an employee(not dressed professionally, but wearing an oversized sweatshirt off her should and spaghetti strap top under and yoga pants) approached me. She had an attitude off the bat. She took photocopies of my dl#, the ESA card for my support dog and my credit card. Tried charging me for my support dog to stay. told her it was against the law to charge. She then told me she would be returning my money and I had to leave. By now it is 8pm on a Friday night, and we just drove half way across the state and have no where to stay and we were booked for the weekend, as we were attending an event nearby. She used bad language and continued to be rude. As of 2:05 am Sunday, my money has NOT been returned to my credit card. I let them know when I was booking that my ESA was coming. If they would have been upfront about the $110 charge, I would have booked elsewhere and ask that they be removed as a pet friendly motel. But they are not honest! As a rape survivor, I depend on this animal to give me security. He goes everywhere with me!

it was a run down hotel to stay at. no coffee maker in the room < or nowhere for that matter, no ice bucket. the place smelled, we left within 1 hour after arriving and went to a near by city to stay

I booked and paid for my room for one night on Expedia. When I arrived to check in, the smell of marijuana was nearly overwhelming. I waited at the front desk for 10 minutes before I was greeted by an employee. From that point, the check-in process was fine, other than the fact that TownSquare Place charged me an additional $65 above what I was told by Expedia the room would cost. Essentially, I paid nearly double for the room. I reached out to Town Square Place repeatedly to try to resolve this… noting but voicemail. The room was “fine” for what it was. Pretty basic. Clean to the point of “acceptable”. Beds are… meh. Not sure if it was my oversight, but when I booked this room, I was not aware there were residents living there long term. As a result of that, I was approached by two employees at my room at 10am as I was jumping in the shower insisting that they needed to enter my room for an inspect. Confused, and wearing only a bath towel, I opened the door to informed them that I was only there for one night. They seemed confused and left. I would suggest the staff know which rooms are nightly guests and which are long term guests. Doing so seems like a simple task and would have saved me a lot of embarrassment, anxiety and frustration. Overall… I really enjoy Chaska and I will be back to explore further. I WILL NOT be staying at TownSquare Place again, nor would I recommend it. I would appreciate it if they would make things right and refund the overcharge.
