The hotel is in a great location. It was also very clean.

The hotel's decor looks like it hasn't changed since the 1980s. It was okay, but I was surprised at how much it cost in light of its old appearance.

Clean and tidy room. Nice entrance lobby. Nice hallways. Very nice staff.

Would have preferred a proper duvet on the bed instead of a sheet and a blanket.

"Stay at the Royal Scot! There's a shuttle a short walk away that will take you to Butchart gardens."

The suite was HUGE! Very clean. It was close to everything, even Butchart gardens! My Husband and I got the Black Ball ferry from Port Angeles. Everything was within a 20 minute walk. Except for the Butchart gardens. We took the shuttle located downtown for that and left the car at home! Everything was Awesome!

There was No air-conditioning in the room but we opened the window and sliding the glass door and it got cooler.
