"Very specia rural stay with truly gourmet food"

Really special place run by a really friendly couple. The food is a true gourmet experience - having a top class chef cook an incredible multi-course meal just for the small handful of guests staying. An authentic traditional house with a lovely bath house built my the owner himself. Lots of fun animals outside to interact with. Highly, highly recommend - and stay two nights to enjoy more amazing food and soak up the calm atmosphere!

"Merveilleux"

Utaka et Giovanni sont des hôtes excessivement attentifs et présents. Ce fut tellement interessant d’échanger avec eux. Ils donne t leur temps avec générosité. Concernant le petit déjeuner je le trouvais un petit peu frugal. Mais la qualité des ingrédients était excellente. Le dîner préparé par chez Giovanni était délicieux.

Hosts, staff, facilities, ofuru, goats and view were fabulous. Baby goats chimichan, alejandro, arielle were so adorable .

"Super gastvriendelijk en traditioneel verblijf in de mooie natuur van Wakayama"

Wat een super fijn verblijf! Een mooie oude boerderij, meer dan 100 jaar oud, van binnen en ddaar waar nodig gemoderniseerd. Geiten en kippen lopen om de boerderij en deze willen graag aandacht. De slaapkamers zijn met futonbedden en de overige ruimtes zijn gemeenschappelijk. Badkamers zijn prima en ruim en ook in de tuin is nog een apart badhuis. Het hoogtepunt is wel de keuken. We hebben voor beide dagen diner en ontbijt gereserveerd. Dit kon beide niet beter. Je eet in de keuken waar het klaargemaakt wordt. Een mooie mix van Italiaans en Japans. Niet te vergeten: de eigenaren zijn zo vriendelijk en gastvrij. De boerderij ligt op zo'n 500 m hoogte waardoor je uitzicht hebt op de oceaan.

We were picked up by the hostess! Amazing Italian supper and breakfast. Lovely mountain location.

"Beautiful farm experience"

The food, views, and experience of a historic Japanese home. The staff were kind and attentive, and they delivered beautiful food.

The beams and ceilings are low, so just be aware of that, however it is not a deal breaker for us.

Great little farmhouse with wonderful hosts Giovanni and Yukata. The accomodation is clean and simple but the highlight was Giovanni’s cooking which was outstanding as he is a Michelin chef.

"Perfecte start voor de Kumano Kodo"

Wat een heerlijke plek in de bergen tussen de dieren. Alles heel persoonlijk. Je kan worden opgehaald en gebracht en het eten (Italiaans!) is verrukkelijk! Absolute aanrader
