"Great farm stay on the Kumano Kodo"

The hosts Giovanni and Yukata were outstanding hosts in their kindness and consideration of all of our needs from collecting us at Tanabe to placing out our shoes. The property is quirky with differing ceiling heights which is fun and the chickens, coasts and turkeys made it a real farmhouse stay. The food was delicious and innovative

Our loft room was reached via a few steep stairs which seemed a concern at first but was actually fine

Beds were not comfortable for us; the Japanese style of futon on the floor just doesn't work for us, unfortunately.
