Forest Park Hotel

Wir hatten ein frisch renoviertes Zimmer, Blick raus aus der Stadt, da gab es vom Balkon einen Blick auf Wapiti, Schwarzbär und Grizzly.

Hotel wird renoviert, haben wir übersehen. Konnten die Annehmlichkeiten vom Nachbarhotel nutzen, war ok. Kein Aufzug ins 2.OG, extrem lange Wege. Wir haben aber am Wochenende keinen Lärm von der Baustelle mitbekommen.

Location was great. Walkable to town. Great modern and clean king suite. Free parking. Front staff were very helpful and accommodating.

Sehr modern und sauber, gerade frisch renoviert.

Leider wurde kein Frühstück angeboten, vielleicht lag das aber an den Renovierungsarbeiten, die noch nicht ganz abgeschlossen waren.

Bed was comfortable. Good water pressure.

Front desk efficiency was poor. I had two reservations, one for two nights and a second one for an additional night. I called weeks in advance and asked that they be combined. At check, they could only locate the first reservation. It took some time for the second reservation to be located and the rate from the original booking was not honored. None of the facilities were available due to construction. The hotel was offering a 20 percent discount on room rates as a result, however, they refused to extend that on the third night because it had not been requested at the time the reservation was made (when I thought the rate for my original booking would be honored). Not surprisingly, when we returned to the hotel on the third day we had been locked out of the room because they STILL had not corrected the booking. There was no concern, interest in, or apology for any of the issues; both disappointing and unprofessional.

No elevator. Overpriced for the facility being in the middle of repairs.

Room was of good size and comfortable.

The bathroom shower had a metallic soap holder mounted on the wall directly behind the shower door. This created a safety hazard because there was not enough room to move safely, and one had to be very careful not to hit it and get injured. The shower levers were also installed incorrectly, adding to the overall inconvenience and safety concerns. In addition, there was no light above the mirror, which made shaving inconvenient.
