Best Western Kilima Hotel

We booked 3 single rooms and got 3 lovely spacious double rooms. From the time we booked in till we left 4 days later the staff and hotel were lovely they advised we're to go and buses to catch a bus stop across the road takes you into the city. The breakfast is excellent everyone was so friendly I would recommend this hotel and we will book again in the future

Service was good, the lady waiting at breakfast was very attentive and the food was lovely. The welcome was also good. `the wifi worked very well. The room was ok, needing refreshed. However, the bathroom was disappointing, and the shower location is no good, especially for someone tall.

Budget friendly, big room. Staff were efficient and friendly.

The room was very dated. I felt the breakfast was a bit basic and perhaps therefore pricey.

Management were great and helpful rooms were cool even though the hottest day of the year

The staff were lovely. It felt like being in a family hotel not part of a big chain. Breakfast was cooked to order and delicious. Extremely good value for money.

Decoration dated no real issue

Chris and Sammy make the difference, very welcoming. Great to talk to, really down to earth. Nothing is too much bother.

Old building so understandable no Aircon. Was a bit warm at night (fan a bit noisy) however it was exceptional weather. Some damp or mould on ceiling of room and dead fly on windowsill but was cleaned up next day.

Very helpful staff. Nice location. Pleasant area not far from the city centre. Comfortable. Clean.

Price a bit higher, but that seemed to be standard in York that weekend.
