Best Western Kilima Hotel

Het is een oubollig hotel aan een drukke weg maar we hebben daarvan geen last gehad tijdens het slapen. We hadden liever nog wat dichter bij het echte oude centrum gezeten. Onze driepersoons kamer had slechts 1 klein raam dat open kon. Het was warm in het hotel. Ontbijt heel standaard Engels. Ik vroeg om kaas maar dat was er niet.

Comfortable but nothing to write home about

Breakfast expensive not included in price. You need to ask for everything even milk for your tea. Only 2 butter cubes on table as norm . Everything the strict minimum do not like asking for basics like cereal. No rolls or croissants or anything to choose from so difficult to know what is available. Very poor

My wife and I have stayed at the Kilima Hotel before. This time we were taking our grandkids and knew exactly where we wanted to stay. The location is perfect, a short walk to the city wall. Our family room was the most spacious that we've stayed in. The wifi was perfect, the pool is wonderful. All the staff were welcoming and friendly. Nothing seemed to be too much trouble. Breakfast was spot on. The coffee machine is a nice touch. The terrace is a lovely place to relax with a glass of wine.

All very good as on previous visits. The hotel is on a regular bus route to the railway station which saves me bringing the car.

Lovely Victorian building. Large, spacious rooms.

Room was unbearably hot (desk fan was little help). A little too far out of town if you’ve been on your feet all day.
