Castle Oaks House Hotel

Wonderful old world country hotel, with all modern conveniences, on the banks of the Shannon, and still only a short distance to Limerick City. Staff, food, room etc excellent !

Really beautiful and traditional irish hotel, some of us are staying in the lodge houses and some in the hotel and everything is clean and lovely ! Would be an amazing place for a wedding with beautiful surroundings. We decided to have a drink and dinner at the bar out of convenience, but we were amazed by our experience, Josephine treated us like royalty, she tended to all our needs, and made us feel so welcome and really made our stay special. She gave us great recommandations and even remembered our names! Great food and great Guinness ! She went above and beyond and we couldn't have asked for anything better. We look forward to coming back when we are in the area and bringing friends and family too! Looking forward to our next visit!

I spent two nights in your hotel, The Staff are amazing, helpful, friendly and hard working especially the 2 ladies that are sisters. The made the breakfast experience really enjoyable and then the sister that works in the evening doing the bar and bar food was just as good. I know if I owned a business that is the staff I would be looking for

We enjoyed our overnight stay in Castleoaks hotel. A warm welcome, decent food and a cosy bar in pleasant surroundings.

The castle oaks is a lovely comfortable old worldly experience of a hotel . Clean ,welcoming,friendly staff who couldn't do enough for me and my friend when we arrived on the Friday evening to spend a night celebrating my best friends graduation day. We we're greeted by a lovely lady receptionist at 4pm and it was alive with guests attending a wedding. However we were somewhat disappointed to be told that the leisure centre was closed for repairs . Now that was no problem but I would have liked to have received a prior email to our arrival to advise us of the situation as we made our journey early to make use of the facilities. After returning down to dinner in the bar we were advised that we could have a late check out next day for the inconvenience of no leisure facilities or we could use the sister hotel 10 minutes away if we desired We had a lovely meal &the lovely waitress Josephine made our nite there was no end to her kindness and care we recieved. The rooms are immaculate and spacious and the breakfast 💯 per cent .The waitresses next morning were so nice and helpful..thumbs up to them also. We will return but a heads up regarding the leisure facilities would have been useful .

Everything was perfect..the room was lovely with a nice new bathroom..the staff were lovely the girl on reception and the 2 sisters maggie and Josephine working in the restaurant..food in the bar was very good and so was breakfast..will definitely return..

Brilliant place to stay Stephanie is the best receptionist helpful all the time and willing to go the extra mile looked after us all

V short overnight stay - Arrival efficient and friendly Stephanie very thoughtful re early breakfast to take away Dinner one of best meals ever enjoyed. Serving staff probably the most obliging ever encountered. Room large clean comfortable - pillows and bed very comfortable. Slept great! Will return

Staff were lovely, room was clean and welcoming. Parking was good. Interior of the hotel is very dated in places
