I like it

The room was large and clean! We had a room with an ocean view on the second floor. BEAUTIFUL VIEWS The A/C in the room wasn't the best, it was only cold around sunrise. During the day it didnt work making escaping the heat difficult. The food choices also weren't what i was expecting. There was pizza my first night there; buffet style :/ The front desk tried to upsale us upon check in saying we would have better food from sister hotel at 80$ per person. We declined and would rather get food off the property. If you have a vehicle I wouldn't waste money on the food from the hotel. Its in a good location and affordable. Beds are comfortable NO A/C BAD FOOD

Horrible conditions too many to list first off the bathroom no running water the shower heads full of mold the tubs all rusted and dirty. Bugs everywhere! The food was horrible! The drinks were all water zero entertainment and all the locals come and take over the place it was a horror show! Never again will we come back even if it’s free! Beware do not come here!!! Also power outages occurred at least six times I want my money back

I don't usually leave reviews, but my recent stay at Playa Bachata Resort compelled me to share my experience. Unfortunately, the resort fell short of expectations. The check-in process was chaotic, and the room assignment process seemed disorganized. The bedrooms were not only dirty but also plagued by mosquitoes and other issues. The bathroom water had a strong sewage smell throughout my three-day stay. The pools were unclean, and the lawn chairs were broken and covered in bird droppings. The main dining area was infested with roaches of all sizes, which was unappetizing and disturbing. The food lacked variety, was often overcooked, and didn't look appealing. The chefs' handling of food was careless, and their attitude was unfriendly. It's disappointing to see a staple resort in Puerto Plata in such a state of disrepair. Despite the challenges, the staff were kind, helpful, and resourceful, making the best of a difficult situation. Hopefully, this review will highlight areas for improvement.

Everything was goid rooms need upgraded

The worst hotel I ever stayed. The staff are rude and don’t want to help you. The water and electricity went off at night. The food is the same thing everyday and the food be tasting nasty. Please if you want to enjoy how beautiful is puerto plata I recommend you to booked another hotel. This one is not good at all.

This hotel is so old, for room there are not card keys and the Air Conditioner is managed for them, you can adjust temperature whatever you want. It's was so hot in the room. The food was good and the beach have an amazing view.

Arrived noon, front dest manager refused my 2 kids because they were not added in the family room that accommodates 5. Waited 3 hrs, had to cancel 1 of our 3 rooms to rebook and was way over charged. Notified expedia and was told hotel could of waved the dependents and given us the same room we rebooked.party of 8 missed lunch and our vacation started terrible.
