Dunadry Hotel And Gardens

I had booked the hotel for my son’s birthday after seeing it all over social media with a spa garden. Not knowing that you had to book a garden room. so was very disappointed to find out we could not use the spa area only the ‘leisure centre’ type place which had swimming lessons going on.

The grounds were lovely, the room was very spacious. The food was delicious.

It was fantastic

Very good breakfast. Very spacious and pleasant room. Nice swimming pool but unfortunately not enough time to use it. lovely gardens and nice to sea the peacocks wandering freely.

Bedding in the room was too warm and not flexible enough. Only there one night but if longer I would have requested lighter bed covers. We don't all need double duvets and room was very warm.

The rooms were beautiful, clean and comfortable. The property itself was lovely and peaceful

The pool facilities were disappointing

The food at the Dunadry Hotel was absolutely amazing, right down to the beautiful breakfast! Sometimes hotel breakfasts can be hit and miss but this was great. Proper butchers bacon and sausages and an amazing selection of other breakfast items. The meal in the restaurant was superb. Can highly recommend the slow roast shin of beef and the salted caramel posset parfait! Both were incredible. The spa garden rooms (only 10) have exclusive use of the garden spa from your bedroom terrace which is superb and because of the exclusive use from only 10 rooms, the thermal area was always peaceful and not over crowded. We had the most relaxing weekend in a long long time and cant wait to go back. Great service from all staff also. Would highly recommend.

Went for a birthday meal in the Mill Race restaurant. Service was pretty good but food not great to be honest. My Dunadry Burger was a slab of solid meat? No texture at all? The salt and vinegar onion rings were massively overdone and just broke into pieces. The Tart Tatin for dessert was divine to be fair. Dropped the ball I think.
