Dunadry Hotel And Gardens

Stayed here several time before. The staff are always cheerful, friendly and very attentive. Food is great whether that’s in the bar, restaurant or breakfast. The rooms are cozy and warm with lots of space and the location is very relaxing and great if you want to get away from the noise of the city. A definite favourite.

I stayed at Dunadry hotel and gardens on the 25th of February and had an outstanding experience from the beautiful spa to the staff that went above and beyond to make our stay very enjoyable. The food was out of this world especially the butter chicken that my mum had. The room was spotless and had everything we needed. The convenience of having the spa at our doorstep made it an even better. Highly recommend and definitely will be returning. Big shoutout to Gary who made us feel very welcome and Emily who served us in the restaurant and made sure we were well looked after. Thank you Dunadry for an amazing stay.

Day before arrival we received a strange email, upon contacting the hotel by phone they told us they had been hacked and the email was not from them, it's a bit worrying that they hadn't contacted their customers about this rather than us having to call them to find out. Upon arrival we were told the bubbly and gift pack advertised on the website when we booked ( and was still on their website on arrival) had ended, when we said that this was unfair the very helpful receptionist said she would ask her manager, we asked again about the hack on their system, they told us to check our bank accounts as others had money removed from theirs, yet there had still been no proactive contact from the hotel informing us of this. In fairness, the receptionist arrived at our room a short time later with bubbly and the gift pack, saying due to the website still saying plus the inconvenience of the hack the manager had agreed. The room was not very clean, sticky rings from previous guests drinks, crumbs under and around the coffee maker, we stayed in the Spa Garden room, which has a small patio and access to the spa garden, this obviously hadn't been cleaned at all, including a glass full of cigarette butts which had obviously been there some time, quite a few spider webs in the room and I was even greeted by a spider as I opened the curtains. All of these are easy fixes, the house keeping manager needs to inspect the rooms. The spa garden is nice but again simple fixes, about a third of the light bulbs which hang criss-cross along the garden don't work, but it was clean which is most important. The hotel was not very busy but service was quite slow, in the bar and at breakfast, breakfast was very good by the way

After eating at the carvery, we decided to escape from everything for 24 hours, by booking dinner, bed and breakfast the next night. It was great. The room was spacious, with excellent bathroom. This included a separate walk in shower. Dinner in the restaurant was excellent and as was the buffet breakfast the next morning. It was perfect for what we needed.

Had an overnight stay at this hotel for Valentines weekend and we enjoyed every minute of it! Rooms were spacious and very tidy, no noise from outside, and had a lovely selection of teas and treats. The pool and spa areas were very clean and the staff were very welcoming. We ate in the Mill Race restaurant for dinner and it was one of the best restaurants we have been to: the food we had was gorgeous, and the girls who served us were so friendly and attentive. This was our first time staying here and we will definitely be back!

Communication was poor when trying to organise what was happening on morning of wedding. Including being told room was set up when there wasn't any chairs. Saying all wedding decorations to be up day before but then none of the staff could tell us where we needed to leave it. Resulting in having to organise this on morning of wedding. Bride's belongings not transferred to honeymoon suite even though informed this was part of the service.

Third time staying as a couple and our most enjoyable stay yet. Fab room, excellent service, delicious evening meal.
