Dunadry Hotel And Gardens

My partner and I were given a voucher for the hotel, and booked to stay one night in March. When we arrived, the room wasn't ready which we expected because we had arrived at lunchtime - no issue. We had a drink in the bar while we waited. The atmosphere was very warm and friendly. When the room was ready we went to it, and we were both very impressed by it - the facilities, the bed, and the general feeling in it. We went to the health facilities and made use of the swimming pool and jacuzzi, which were both pleasantly warm. The staff members were very welcoming and explained everything to us and showed us to the changing rooms. The only issue with the changing rooms was that they were open, no cubicles. In the evening, we had booked a table for dinner in the restaurant, but we both ended up having the bar food menu, as we couldn't see anything that really appealed to us on the main menu. It had been my partners birthday a couple of days before our stay. When i asked the servers about getting her dessert with a candle, they organised that - they provided the dessert separately, and then came back a couple of minutes later with a muffin and candle in it and sang Happy Birthday to my partner. It was a nice touch, and I really appreciated it. We were told that they are renovating the hotel in June, but we will look to go back in the future.

Had a nights stay on the spa garden rooms and definitely recommend these room. There are only 10 available and you have your own private access to the spa area. Rooms are big enough with coffee/ tea machine bottled water is also provided. Robes and flip flops and rituals shower gels ect. Beds were comfortable but pillows weren’t great way to soft for me. Spa is open from 8am-8pm which is great and you can have drinks delivered directly to your hot tub by scanning the barcode on the side, this was great. Such a relaxing stay hot tubs were so warm and sauna relaxation rooms were great. Food in the hotel bar/restaurant were reasonably priced and good size portions. Beautiful ground to go for a walk. We would definitely recommend and stay in the hotel in the future.

Room was very clean, comfortable, overlooking outdoor spa area. Food was very good both at dinner and breakfast. Staff were all very pleasant and helpful. Gardens are very nice for a wee dander. Would be lovely for a summer wedding (weather permitting)

Pillows bit soft. If staying in summer and if at weekend or if wedding on, room overlooking spa might be a bit noisy ?

Great place and staff. A shame about the annual 2 x coach loads of kids that arrived after 10pm and proceeded to run riot through the room corridors until well after 11:30pm! Thursday night.... working day.... needed a restful night.

Comfortable bed and nice room. Nice food in the bar.

A clump of hair in the bathroom. Dirty fork with food still between the tines at dinner in the bar. Pool area below what I'd expect from 4 star.

Myself & my wife liked everything about are stay. So much so that we have booked up again for the 9th October!! We look forward to staying again. Really can’t wait, what a fantastic Hotel.
