Denali Bluffs Hotel

The hotel is conveniently located to “Glitter Gulch” which is the retail section of town and you could walk there. Liked that their shuttle schedule is posted all over. Friendly and efficient staff. The only complaint I would have is that the rooms had very thin walls. We could hear our neighbor coughing for quite some time before we fell asleep.

We thought we were reserving a room in a hotel, so it was a surprise that we were in a cabin. It worked out fine. The staff was amazing, in particular the staff members at the front desk that made sure we were set for shuttles, meals, pickups schedules, etc.

Ottima posizione per le escursioni organizzate al parco, ci sono venuti a prendere direttamente fuori dall’hotel. Parcheggio comodissimo.

Prezzi esorbitanti di colazione e cena, abbiamo preferito non usufruirne.

View was amazing! Nice clean comfortable rooms! Dining was delicious 👍! Maybe improve the road coming into the property (potholes) and add more parking for guests.

Paper thin walls so the noise in the adjacent rooms made sleeping difficult. Check out time is an early 10 AM. We asked for a later checkout and were told we could stay until 11 AM. At 8:30 the morning of checkout they called us and told us that they could not honor the late checkout time. Also, no room housekeeping was done the two nights, three days that we stayed there. The restaurant food was good but quite expensive, $25 for a hamburger. It is convenient to the train station and the park.

This is one for the few places to stay to visit Denali National Park. The location is good for transportation to tours of the park. The grounds are attractive.

This facility is old and the upkeep has been minimal. The carpets are old and sticky. The linens had stains on them and the bathroom is very small. The bathtub is very slippery and difficult to get in and out of without grab bars, which they didn't have. The mattress was lumpy and the overall room was musty and worn. Also, this room was very overpriced for what it offered. No sit down breakfast or lunch options. They had self service items but the quality of those items were very poor. Dinner restaurant had horrible reviews so we went to town to eat. Sad, we had hoped for better.

Bathroom was pathetic. Exhaust fan didn't work, bathroom lock doesn't work, commode was old and dirty. TV in the room was very old; picture quality was very bad. Not worth it.
