Denali Bluffs Hotel

Was pleasantly surprised by the modern rooms and extremely clean as well. Breakfast choices were limited and all were premade. Had a great restaurant and bar with music and Mountain View for dinner. Ate at Princess Hotel across the street several times for breakfast buffet, lunch, and dinner. Shuttle was very convenient to Denali Visitor Center and to the “downtown” area of gift shops and a few small restaurants.

It is approximately a 10 minute walk down to town. They do offer shuttle drop off and pickup also. The Mountaineer Grill & Bar at the Bluffs has excellent food, drinks, and service. It was a pleasant stay.

If you are in a big group, you may get service. Staying independent has no service. Staff is limited.

Beautiful stay!

Stayed for 4 nights, like most Alaskan hotels they only service rooms on request (not a big problem, but be aware) shuttle bus was excellent, as was the luggage delivery, all staff very friendly. Our room was a deluxe, impressed with size and views, it had everything we needed, negatives were the acoustics from the room above (noise was like a herd of elephants moving, when anyone moved around) it was not just one set of guests, but when we had new ones ( get an upstairs room, if you want quiet) The other challenge was hot water, we had only one day when it was hot, other days, lukewarm (guess it gives you the wilderness experience) Food choices are very limited, they have a to go counter and an evening bar, otherwise you have to go to town. Overall an OK stay, room was comfortable (other than noise) and staff are friendly. Still a good choice for this area.

Staff was great, very helpful and ready to assist with anything you need. Room was clean, beds were comfortable. The restaurant on the property is quite tasty but way over-priced. But when you're tired and it's late, it sure comes in handy. The only area for improvement would be the laundry room was slightly dirty -- from people not picking up after themselves and the smell from the septic system seemed to flare up every now and again. The property itself is lovely. I would recommend.

Nice place, friendly personal.

Nice new modern lodge up in the hill just up the road from Denali Park entrance. The Denali Park tour bus picked us up right at the front door, so this is a very convenient place. There is an on-site bar and Grill as well as a convenience store. It’s about a mile from other dining options, but we did not explore those. We were here for one night and the next morning took the bus tour into the park And then went home.

Convenient for Denali Park. Food options are limited in the Denali Park area.
