Emerald Lake Lodge

Excellent location, with amazing views of the lake from my room.

No wifi in the guest rooms. The “club house” doesn’t have a gym just a hot tub, and as it opens at 10am it’s impossible to go in he morning before breakfast (served until 10:30am) or check out at 11am. I loved having a real log fire in my room, but the instructions are limited, with no explanation as to how to extinguish the fire when desired. Also undoubtedly unsafe for families with small children. The facilities are generally limited, and the restaurant food expensive for what it is.

While the property only has stairs to the second floor, the wonderful team was incredibly polite and took care of carrying all our luggage up for us.

Die Lage ist toll. Auf den Zimmern gab es einen Kamin plus Feuerholz.

Das Personal war schlecht drauf. Das Frühstücksbuffet nicht sehr reichhaltig, eher einfach gehalten für einen stolzen Preis. Die Zimmer waren dunkel, wenig komfortabel und teilweise hingen in den Ecken noch Spinnenweben.

Everything is perfect.

The most magical and intimate location. From a smooth transfer on the shuttle bus and a n easy check in, we really enjoyed our stay at Emerald Lake. Making use of the fire place in our lodge and taking the time to walk one of the trails, our experience here was amazing and picturesque, despite the renovation works ongoing. The food was unforgettable accompanied by a strong wine menu.
