the ambiance, location and staff are great.

Given the price, I would have expected a more comfortable bed (saggy). My $62, elk steak was not tender and over cooked. The maitre d was not helpful. The common areas are starting to look tired. The breakfast buffet for $30 was ordinary.

5th time saying here. Heaven on Earth

La situation de l'hôtel est exceptionnelle. je conseille de manger au Lounge (les plats sont les mêmes qu'au restaurant et l'ambiance est plus sympa), les cocktails sont tops. Le petit déjeuner proposé est très copieux. Quelques rafraichissements dans la salle de bain de notre chambre seraient bienvenus mais cela n'impacte pas la propreté des lieux

Rooms are spacious very comfortable, with a view of the lake and a great fireplace, with suitable wood and kindling provided in the cabin. Good buffet breakfast, and friendly staff at the lodge, although expensive to eat there.

It is very expensive for the room, and for the food at the onsite restaurants and for use of canoes. It is justified by the beautiful location if you do really appreciate that sort of thing and enjoy the idea of sitting by the fireplace. And if you have appropriate weather for your stay. During our stay recent rains and melting snow had made the lake trail too muddy to walk. It was not quite as quiet as I expected, due to the noise of generator or pump outside, and creaking from the people in the unit above us. Requires a shuttle service to get from parking to the lodge. That is a bit inconvenient but the shuttle staff were friendly and helpful!

L'emplacement est la vraie valeur de cet établissement pour ne pas dire la seule. Si je dois faire un compliment ce sera pour le personnel du bar et la qualité des mets servis.

Vétusté des installations pour le prix, pas de vrais services ou accompagnement pour les bagages alors qu'il y a des escaliers partout. Le pire est pas de ménage fait dans la chambre pour deux nuits sur place. Pas de poubelles vidées et pire encore pas de linge de toilette changé et ce en dépit de de ma réclamation à deux reprises. C'est inadmissible pour soit disant un tel hôtel... On a voulu m'offrir une boisson pour s'excuser. Inacceptable.

Location is awesome

Highly overpriced and they try to fleece as much as possible. Even breakfast is not included and highly overpriced for the food they serve. No vegetarian options.
