Location was amazing, balcony views of the water and surrounding mountains, absolutely perfect

Furniture really outdated, needs a refresh. Couldn’t sleep due to noises from extractor fans of nearby restaurant, radiator rattled constantly,L even though maintenance guy came out and turned it off after complaining. Feels like day users get priority, they park closer; they get full roam of lodge and grounds. I slept better in a tent next to the highway. Can’t believe I paid over 800CAD for this.

"Go for the views and ambience, not luxury"

You really can’t beat the views from the rooms, it’s amazing. Hot tub was a nice touch. Lounge area is cosy and inviting

Shower / change / sauna area in the club house where you change for hot tub is pretty grimy and smelt bad… reminds you that it’s a rustic place at luxury prices. It doesn’t really make sense to not eat dinner there, otherwise why bother going, but the food is very overpriced and not quite well executed. Paid $60 for a tenderloin that was doused in a way too overpowering sauce, which felt amateur.

"Cosy rooms in a gorgeous location"

The main lodge building has lovely decor and was a great place to sit for a drink. Our room was cosy and we appreciated being able to light a fire in the fireplace. The shower had excellent water pressure. We really enjoyed our meal at Mt Burgess dining room - luckily we had booked in advance as it was booked out.

The bathroom got very steamy when we showered - it needs better ventilation.

Lake Emerald Lodge sits in a priviliged position on Lake Emerald. It was a joy to stay there - to wake up early in the morning, and wander the area before hordes of tourists arrive. Our meals in the restaurant were both excellent.

Prior information on how the parking worked would have been handy.

Very nice setting and cabins were cozy and comfortable. Our meal was excellent!

Lots of people. I thought we could canoe the lake as part of the hotel, but it was packed with outside tourists.
