Quaint. Amazing breakfast room. Helpful staff. Comfortable room.

Not much a view from room.

the Staff are wonderful, so kind and helpful and approachable. The breakfast was good. The location is very good for all the good bits of Shrewsbury.

The room I was in needs a bit of an overhaul, the double glazing is misted, the radiator needed bleeding and the furniture is old and worn. It was rather small, which was ok, but its not as if its the cheapest place in Shrewsbury. Clean and comfortable and a lovely location, but don't charge premium rate for the single rooms.

The Prince Rupert is a lovely, characterful period hotel, beautifully situated right in the middle of town. Nice restaurant. Good breakfast. Large comfortable sitting room.

My room was adjacent to another where I had no choice but overhear the conversation.

Central location, excellent staff, food was really good

Car Parking, I realise its the best they can do with the location but would be awful in the rain.

Attention to detail, very helpful receptionist, friendly bar staff, and waitress/waiter. Traditional services from a traditional hotel. Really made up from a bad experience at a nearby hotel and saved the weekend. Nice traditional breakfast as well.

Lovely short break

The property was in the centre of Shrewsbury. Although the car parking was a five minute walk away from the hotel, we were able to come and go in our car having paid in advance for the parking fee. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. I had booked four rooms for a reunion with friends, all were clean, spacious and serviced beautifully every day. The breakfast and service in the restaurant was also exceptional.
