"It met our expectations, we enjoyed our stay, It is a very old building, steeped in history."

Lovely building nice and clean, reception staff Lovely and given complimentary sherry on arrival

Breakfast staff were rude made to feel as though serving me was a nuisance and I was very uncomfortable, so much so I left and checked out without having breakfast, particularly distressing as a solo female traveller

"Needs a significant amount of redecoration and upgrade of fixtures and fittings."

It was close to the venue I had gone to visit

Fixtures and fittings very tired and damaged. Pubic hair in the bath. Unsafe electrics - socket cover loose on the wall another socket intermittent causing my charger to overheat, light above bed not working. Skirting boards badly in need of redecorating.
