Sol Cala D'Or Apartments

We stayed here for four nights room only, I shared an apartment with my daughter. The reception area is very nice & welcoming. The apartments are very basic but clean. A seperate bedroom with two beds and an air conditioner, and a chargeable safety box. Our room was 316 with the nice balcony facing the pool area, I was very happy with the apartment for what we paid. The beds weren’t the comfiest but ok for four nights. The bathroom has a shower, toilet, basin & hairdryer, pool towels aren’t supplied so take your own. In the kitchen lounge dining area was a big fridge with a small ice box, oven, electric hob, a microwave, kettle, toaster and another air conditioner. It was very well equipped, my only issue was the cups are tiny and I enjoy a decent cup of tea! There was a single bed with a pull out bed underneath, this was actually more comfortable than the beds in the bedroom, my daughter chose to sleep on this bed because the design of the apartment meant the bedroom of the next door apartment backed against our bedroom and the occupant was a snorer, there didn’t seem to be any sound insulation at all. We could hear them talking and could make out their accents and could also hear them doing other things very loudly 🙉!! The pool area was really nice with sunbeds and a pool bar, unfortunately they didn’t offer any healthy choices so we were forced to either go out for lunch or buy something from the supermarket. The cocktails however were really nice! I imagine in summer it would be difficult to get a bed but it was out of season so we didn’t struggle. We did have to move beds to stay in the sun. All the staff were very friendly, helpful and nice. We loved Cala D’or and exploring the different Cala’s it’s worth getting out and about. We also got a taxi to and from the airport which cost €150 for four people and took about 1 hour.

Booked for a group of 3, very nice and clean, super close to the shops with lots of places around, had to pay €20 tourist tax on arrival which was very annoying but expected. Would stay again, super easy if not wanting all inclusive and to do your own thing

We had a lovely stay at Sol Cala D'Or Apartments. We stayed in a Superior Apartment as we are a family of four and wanted extra space. The apartment was spread over two floors, with a double bedroom upstairs and two single sofa-beds downstairs. There was also a kitchen area. The hotel itself was lovely. The pool was great, although it was often a struggle to get a sunlounger. They've squeezed in as many sunloungers as possible I think, but there isn't a huge amount of space around the pool. We did travel in August and perhaps it isn't so bad outside of the holidays. I also found it frustrating that the pool closed so early in the evening. Sometimes we'd return from a day out and would have loved more time to cool off in the pool before it closed. We didn't eat at the hotel, although we did have plenty of drinks from the pool bar. The 2 for 1 cocktails were great! It is only a couple of minutes walk down to the beach, and the hotel is surrounded by plenty of options for eating. There is also a small shop just downstairs providing the essentials. Overall, very happy with the stay, apart from the slight frustrations in finding a sunlounger!

Well my parents stayed here in 2018 in anappartment and 2019 in a studio. It was very nice also the food. We booked very early through the hotel directly and got the appartment exactly near the restaurant/ kitchen.. when you close the windows its ok man can sleep. Bathroom was nice the rest ok. If i want to cook it would be harder. They serve only breakfast and nothing special for plant based food very difficult. Noise was acceptable.

Had what would’ve been a very pleasant week here at the end of September if my husband hadn’t been so very ill most of the week. This was from bad food poisoning given us both from eating at Barlovento nearby and in no way the apartments fault but sadly it did take the shine off our trip. The apartments are spacious with a separate bedroom and fabulous storage facilities for hanging or storing clothes and suitcases. We were on the second floor and overlooked the pool which was lovely. You get a full sized fridge for water and food and a small but adequate food prep area. Luckily for me that included a toaster as I was forced to dine on toast all week while my husband lay on the ( comfy) sofa groaning. There’s a handy little spa right next door for bread, milk, everything really. 5 minutes walk to the gorgeous slightly bigger beach and loads of eateries and shops on your doorstep, the apartments are very well located. Pool area was nice and no problems getting a sunbed in September although the place was busy. Cleaners were lovely and did a great job - my husband saw a lot of them as he basically couldn’t leave the apartment all week! Nice shower and plenty of hot water although the bathrooms would benefit from an opening window to air them a bit. Our bathroom window was firmly locked shut with no key available, but maybe they do this from a security POV. Anyway, great base for a week in Cala D’or! Just avoid Barlovento and their tapas platter…..

Just returned from a great 11 night holiday at these lovely apartments. I came with friends, their 1 bedroom apartment was on the ground floor with direct access to the beautiful and spacious pool, and my studio was on the 2nd floor overlooking the pool. Just perfect! My only slight criticism was the firmness of the mattress; even with the topper kindly provided by the hotel, it was still too firm for me! The complex was spotlessly clean, and the staff so friendly and helpful. It was situated literally a 5 minute stroll away from the beautiful Cala Gran beach, with other beaches very close by. I loved Cala D'Or, plenty restaurants and bars and it had a lovely safe, family feel to it. I am already looking at rebooking for next year!

Excellent accommodation in every respect. Spotlessly clean, well maintained and relaxing. Staff are most polite and helpful at all times. Very close to all amenities and a lovely town to walk around. Will definitely be back. Thank you to everyone at the Sol 👏👏👏

The accommodation is not safe at all. Our belongings were stolen and the hotel management was not helpful and They also said that this place is not safe.

The Staff were extremely helpful and friendly - ultra clean accommodation - I would recommend to anyone
