Property Notes

Please note that our Leisure Club is closed while we repair damage to the area and will re-open later this year. Our Gym area will still be available. We apologize for any inconvenience caused. When booking 6 rooms or more, different policies and additional supplements may apply. We only accept pets in some of our Deluxe Double Rooms with Sofa Bed. Please inquire for availability before booking. There is a £10.00 per pet per night charge. Our Restaurant will be closed on Friday & Saturday nights during December due to Functions. 24th to 26th December and 1st January there will be limited evening food service. "Festive Celebrations" may be audible during this period. On New Year's Eve our Restaurant is closed and there will be no meals available after 6pm. On New Year's Day our bed & breakfast rates include brunch served from 9am-11am. We hold events and functions at the hotel and party celebrations may be audible at times. A deposit may be required at the property.

No pool. Unhelpful staff when asking for compensation for no pool. I just asked for them to give us a breakfast as compensation. Was told a flat no.

"Weekend Trip - 5/5"

We stayed here as we were in bridgend for the bank holiday weekend. Everything was amazing and i had the best night sleep for a long time! The bed was amazing, the room was spotless and had everything you could need. The only issue we had was the hinges on the bathroom door were a little bit loose which meant it was a little hard to shut the door but this would be an easy fix. Apart from this we had no issues and the room was lovely and cool all night. The door to the outside area was also nice to have access to with the sunshine! Good location close to the beaches and great value for money. Will definitely be returning if we are back in the area.

"Another enjoyable stay"

This was an organised stay, we were happy to return. Easy to travel into Cardiff, Porthcawl for the beach.

Shame no fresh air in corridors or views to outside as windows are fixed closed. Weather was vary hot and it would have been nice to have some airflow in all of the common spaces not just reception, restaurant and bar area. No aircon.

The staff were brilliant. They went out of their way to support and accommodate us, including my mother, who has dementia, who managed at wander off at one point. Outstanding service with kindness from all staff.
