The rooms were clean and confortable

My daughter had a massive problem in the early hours, the staff were amazing and helped calm her. We definitely be staying again. Thanks for all their help

We were visiting Cardiff as a group of students lead by two lecturers. Rooms were very comfy, breakfast a paradise for carnivores, slightly more challenging for vegans - but they also did not stay hungry. The hotel is perfectly situated between city centre and Cardiff Bay. Even when it was rather full (which it was), we always found place to sit as a somewhat smaller group in the vening which was very nice - and nice staff at the bar helped to enhance the experience!

It might have been a temporary problem, but communicating before the arrival, changing some details and checking in was rather challenging and complicated. After this stage everything was fine.

Excellent chicken curry served

Fire alarm went off at 4.30am, there appeared to be no night staff and we were unsure what was happening. We and everyone else exited the hotel into the car park in the pouring rain but there were no staff to advise us. We waited for half an hour for the fire brigade to come and eventually the alarm was turned off. There was no sign of fire. We left the hotel at 5.30am again there were no staff around.

Location was brilliant for easy walking to the city centre and the bay once we got our bearings. Parking very easy and good. Lovely location by the water. Useful shop near by. Very courteous and helpful staff on arrival. Breakfast times were until later than usual so very welcome on a leisurely break. Nice bar and varied seating. Comfortable room. Wide range of breakfast foods and nice menu for bar meals.

The fire alarm went off twice in the morning during our 3 night stay! Once 7.45 am for a only brief time but breakfast was bedlam after as everyone went the same time. The second alarm was at 4.45 am and it was pouring with rain and we had a long wait for Fire Brigade and all clear. No explanations or apologies given. Shame no fried eggs available with breakfast and plates provided rather too small. Only had bananas on first morning. Only one very busy person covering reception and bar sometimes.
