Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham Madison East

A/C in our room (105) didn't work, when brought to the attention of the guy at the front desk he followed to our room and proceeded to mess with the setting then putting them back where I had them set, then blamed me saying I had the heat on. His solution was to give us fans. In order to plug 1 fan in, the microwave had to be unplugged and then one was plugged in my the window. After that there was 1 plug left to use for my medical device (cpap). He was extremely rude and condescending. He was on his phone in the lobby on speaker phone and ignored us for at least 10 minutes. The tv was the smallest tv I've ever seen and only got like 6 channels all of which were news. The fitness center was like 3 pieces of equipment, 1 needed at card from the front desk to operate and 1 was broken. Spa was listed on the website but it was never found. The toilet was not sealed to the floor and the tub was dirty. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone.

Had someone knocking on my door at 4am screaming.

Better than my car I guess. Room was not clean though.

The room smelled very bad

Very musty/damp and outdated. The fridge in my room was duct taped inside, my clothes I set out for the following day were damp in the morning, holes and stains on the bedding.

One dreasor drawer was missing. Closet would not shut. Room felt damp.

Odor of must in room. Not too pleasant!

Please do yourself a favor and do not stay here. We made the mistake of not looking at reviews before booking and ended up eating the money we paid as we did not even stay an hour here. Smells terrible from the moment you walk in leading into the room. Room was not at all as pictured. The lock on the door was broken, towers were dirty, lots of mirrors in the room, and a door joining the next room which was not shown in pictures. Ultimately a very unpleasant and uncomfortable experience and would 100% not recommend booking.

The motel is just old and needs everything updated. Room was small. Towels were old, small and dirty. Asked for more and was told they don't have any extras until laundry is done the next day. There's duct tape all over the place holding things together. There was duct tape on the door transom holding the carpeting in place.

Very clean and everyone was very nice.. The rooms are in need of remodeling, the continental breakfast hasn't much and the ice machine barely worked but for the price we'd do it again
